On 10 April 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00, the INNO2MARE project successfully hosted an online Innovation Breakfast in collaboration with the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). The session brought together participants from diverse sectors to explore the role of Living Labs as collaborative and user-centred innovation ecosystems.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Koen Vervoort, Senior Stakeholder Strategist at ENoLL, who introduced the concept and practical application of Living Labs. He highlighted how these ecosystems enable innovation through active user involvement and co-creation in real-life environments, bridging the gap between research and market needs.

During the session, participants gained valuable insights into how Living Labs foster collaboration among stakeholders from academia, industry, the public sector, and citizens. The discussion emphasized the importance of inclusive, participatory approaches in addressing complex societal challenges and accelerating innovation cycles.

The interactive Q&A session provided an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the speaker, exchange experiences, and reflect on the potential of Living Labs within their own contexts. The event concluded with closing remarks that reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration and continuous knowledge exchange.

Overall, the Innovation Breakfast offered a dynamic platform for learning and dialogue, further strengthening the connection between the INNO2MARE project and the broader Living Labs community.
