The INNO2MARE project was presented at Immersive Tech Week 2026, one of Europe's leading events dedicated to extended reality (XR), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and spatial computing. Held from June 23 to 25, 2026,  at Katoenhuis in Rotterdam, the event brought together an international community of researchers, technology developers, industry representatives, and creative professionals to explore the future of immersive technologies.

As part of the Summer Opportunity Lounge, consortium partners UL FS and PRIGODA represented INNO2MAREin the EU Pitch Lounge alongside 12 other Horizon projects. The lounge served as an open collaboration space where participants exchanged ideas, established new partnerships, and showcased innovative projects supported through European funding programmes.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about INNO2MARE objectives, ongoing activities, and its contribution to strengthening innovation within the maritime sector of Western Slovenia and Adriatic Croatia. The event provided an excellent platform to increase the project's visibility, engage with stakeholders from across Europe, and exchange experiences with experts working at the intersection of digital technologies, research, and industry.

Beyond the project presentations, Immerse Tech Week featured a diverse programme of keynote presentations, expert panels, interactive demonstrations, and networking sessions focused on the latest developments in immersive technologies. Participants explored practical applications of XR across a wide range of sectors, including industry, healthcare, education, culture, and digital manufacturing. From industrial digital twins and advanced training solutions to immersive storytelling and artistic productions, the event demonstrated the growing role of immersive technologies in addressing real-world challenges and supporting digital transformation.

The final day of the event placed particular emphasis on collaboration and knowledge exchange, reinforcing the importance of connecting research, industry, and the creative sector to accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies. This collaborative environment provided valuable opportunities for the INNO2MARE consortium to engage with potential partners, exchange ideas with the international XR community, and explore future cooperation.

Participation in Immersive Tech Week 2026 represents another important dissemination milestone for the INNO2MARE project. By presenting its activities at a major European event dedicated to immersive innovation, the consortium strengthened the project's visibility, promoted dialogue with key stakeholders, and contributed to building new cross-sector connections that support innovation in the blue economy.
