The workshop From idea to prototype was held in CTC Rijeka from Croatia as a part of the INNO2MARE project from October 9 to October 20 2023, every Monday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
At the workshop, participants went through the basics of IoT, learned what IoT is and what it is based on, and compared classic and IoT devices. Also, participants were introduced to the Arduino microcontroller, with the help of which the role of the microcontroller in IoT systems was explained to them in more detail.
Participants also learned about the basics of electronics, sensors and actuators and connected IoT devices using the cloud platform. At the very end of the workshop, the participants made a prototype of their own IoT project, in order to connect and put into practice everything they learned during the workshop.
