The Association for the Technical Culture of Slovenia (ZOTKS), one of INNO2MARE partners, honoured the achievements of talented young people at the gala event ZOTKINI TALENTI in Ljubljana’s Cankarjev dom, who demonstrated the most knowledge and achieved the best at various national knowledge competitions of young researchers in the school year 2023/24. On the awarded ceremony almost 1,400 elementary school students, students, mentors and other guests gathered. The honorary patron of this year’s event was the Minister of Education, dr. Darjo Felda, who also addressed the gathering and presented several awards, and in his speech, he sincerely congratulated all the winners and pointed out that working with talented pupils and students is extremely important, because perhaps it is these individuals who will bring breakthroughs in the scientific, technological and social fields later in life. “Encouraging your talents and interest in research is crucial to the development of our society.
As part of ZOTKINI TALENTI event the INNO2MARE project had opportunity to present itself in the Great Reception Hall of Cankarjev dom. INNO2MARE had opportunity to presented the general objectives of the projects and particular the developments and findings related to the three Pilot projects. Visitors could experience VR technology for Smart factory tour and fire evacuation scenarios in ship.
The biggest event for the young talents in Slovenia was supported through several channels such as Government portal of Slovenia and Slovenian press agency, RTV Slovenija (Na prireditvi Zotkini talenti podelili priznanja mladim bistrim glavam (rtvslo.si) and Planet TV.
