On May 14, 2025, the University of Rijeka and PRIGODA have organized a workshop aiming to actively involve relevant stakeholders in development of the Joint Strategy and the Action & Investment Plan. The response from the ecosystem was strong, with over 30 participants from the „blue innovation “ecosystem, actively and constructively discussing ways to improve the documents.

The scope of the workshop was to ensure an active engagement of a wide range of stakeholders within the maritime industry, as vital to the project’s success and long-term sustainability (“quadruple-helix”), while the work focused on the Actions to ensure they reflect real-life needs of the industry and the community, by collecting direct inputs from stakeholders.

While the forum discussed all aspects of the strategy and the plan, the significance of education and activation of private capital became visibly prominent within most interventions.

As an additional value of the workshop, the Industrial Transition Strategy of the Republic of Croatia was presented, as a very relevant framework both at policy level guiding the work within INNO2MARE, and as financial support framework for future initiatives arising as results of INNO2MARE.

The work of the INNO2MARE partners will now focus on finalizing the Joint Strategy and the Action & Investment Plan according to the project timeline.
